(Jackson, Wyo.) – MARKET, the retail store located inside Jackson’s Vertical Harvest opens its doors today.
Supplying locally sourced food, products and artisanal items, MARKET will be a place where community members can shop with a purpose: supporting local projects and people. Items include handmade pottery by Jenny Dowd, Aspen Arrow Candles, metal work by Barbara Gentry, handmade cards and artwork by Walt Gerald, delicious edibles by the Roots Kitchen and Cannery, pieces created by Ben Roth and much more. Vertical Harvest apparel will also be sold.
“We are so excited to introduce MARKET which will provide a new way of shopping for our community,” said As Nona Yehia, Vertical Harvest’s Managing Partner. “This unique store will be part garden store, part museum store and marketplace. In the summertime, we will have MARKET days that will highlight produce from around the valley. We are thrilled to provide a venue that will highlight local goods year round.”

This spring, customers can anticipate the inclusion of freshly picked produce harvested directly from the greenhouse. Market will sell Vertical Harvest’s line of freshly picked lettuces, microgreens, herbs and tomatoes.

All proceeds will directly support Vertical Harvest’s unique programs and employees.
Yehia said that they are aiming for a May 21 grand opening for Vertical Harvest. Read more about Vertical Harvest in Buckrail’s article “The seeds of innovation officially sprout at Vertical Harvest.”
