First Interstate Bank was one of the early supporters that gave others in the Jackson Hole community the confidence and commitment to support Vertical Harvest in the early days. Read this great article telling a bit of the story. The piece that is often missing about the start of the story is that it really all started with a conversation and work that I had done with the community and valley leader Bob Arndt, when he and I were considering siting a greenhouse on the rooftop of his grocery story. Bob was such an inspiration for kindness and innovative thinking as he sought to bring affordable and nutritious food to the Jackson community. Bob was a businessman but never let his ego get in the way of people, we should all strive to be more like Bob!
